The National Federation of Filipino American Associations wishes you a blessed and wonderful 4th of July! This particular date is also the time we celebrate Fil-Am Friendship Day.
During the Treaty of Manila on July 4, 1946, the Philippines commended the unity of American and Philippine ideals and heralded a new era of the two governments and peoples who are bound as closely as ever by ties of friendship and mutual trust. On this day, on July 4th, a “truly unbreakable” relationship between the United States and the Philippines was established.
May this day of independence and friendship grant each of you peace and prosperity. Be proud that you are a Filipino American!
