Marie was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Santo Tomas with a BS in Commerce and major in Accounting. She holds a Masters in Business Administration. Marie has 2 sons, Kyle 28 years old and Jimmy 25 years old. She is currently the owner of Arizona Discount Flooring, LLC, and is President and CEO of Arista Development, Inc. Additionally she is the owner and Designated Broker of Altair Realty, LLC and in 2017, became Co-Owner of Mr. Boba. Some of her achievements include receiving the Outstanding Asian American Citizen Award by US Senator Kyle in 2006, receiving the International President’s Award as an Outstanding Lion by the Lion’s Club in 2010, being Founder and President of the Filipino American Business Chamber of Commerce of Arizona, being President of the Federation of Philippine American Chambers of Commerce, being Director at Large of the Asian American Association of Arizona, being Council Board Member of the Council of Filipino Organizations of Arizona, and a Board Member of the GOP Asian Republican Coalition.
