Justine Suegay is a junior at George Mason University studying Global Affairs and Spanish. On campus, she currently serves as the outgoing President of the Filipino Cultural Association and incoming President of the Asian Pacific American Coalition. She is also a Committee Head for Immigration Monologues and Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, where she leads a group in the planning and execution of both events & full-month celebration. Off campus, she has worked for the Center for the Arts (Fairfax) and Prince William Public Schools at varying roles and capacities.
Born and raised in the Philippines, Justine’s passion to serve the Filipino American community comes from her strong ties and love of the culture from firsthand experience. Since attending college, she has developed other passions for linguistics, language access, intercultural communication, ethnic studies, and leadership development. Justine was a NaFFAA intern for a year and has now been serving as NaFFAA Program Associate since August 2018.
