Jelly graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce Banking & Finance Major, from the University of Santo Tomas, and took Master’s in Accounting at Roosevelt University in Chicago. After over 21 years of service at the Chicago and Long Island offices, she retired as a corporate auditor/program specialist from the Franchise Tax Board of the State of California. She was part of the Illinois delegation that attended the 2003 Regional Conference in Troy, Michigan. As NaFFAA Illinois secretary from 2003- 2006, Vice chair 2007-2008 & Chair from 2009-2013, then Region 3 West chair from 2013-2016, she has demonstrated her strong commitment and dedication to NaFFAA.

She was appointed National Secretary in 2010, elected to the same position in 2012-2014. As the current National Risk and Compliance Director, she worked on the most current Bylaws amendments, with the help and support of old and new officers. She is also the current president of the Filipino American National Historical Society of the Midwest (FANHS-Midwest), the host of the 2018 National Conference in Chicago. Her community leadership has earned her several awards of recognition, and noted among them is the Mission HOPE Award from the Houston Royal Oaks Lions Club in 2014.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space 0=””][/vc_column][/vc_row]
