Declaration of Unity to Obtain
Full Equity & Justice for
Filipino World War II Veterans
in the 110th U.S. Congress
That the participating delegates, composed of the leadership of the National
Federation of Filipino American Associations (NaFFAA), Grassroots Advocacy
Groups, the U.S.-based Filipino-American Community and Filipino-American
Veterans Organizations, Delegates from the Veterans Federation of the Philippines
(Manila, Philippines) as well as the Representatives of the Government of
the Republic of the Philippines through the Office of the Ambassador, Embassy
of the Philippines & the Special Presidential Representative, Office
of Veterans Affairs, to the Filipino-American World
War II Veterans National Planning Conference held at the Embassy
of the Philippines, Washington D.C. on December 6-7, 2006, issue this Declaration
of Unity --- consent to a Collective Vision and
a Shared Responsibility on a concept of a
Strengthened Institution with a commitment to compose and form the
National Coalition for Filipino-American World War II
